Back in action-somewhat

Hello! First, I wanted to thank all of you for your sweet thoughts for my Mom during her evacuation with the fires in San Diego. Her home is OK. What a relief. The fire literally burned 2 feet from her back door! She has many sad stories within her street and neighborhood, it is quite heart-wrenching to say the least.
I hosted a toddler/kid Halloween party at my home yesterday, so I will have some pics of that to share with all of you. What a task to prepare 28 treat bags (all hand-stamped)!
Today, we are off to a Princess-themed 3rd Birthday party. The girls are headed to a local children's salon to get their hair/make-up done and then back to the 'Castle' for dinner and Birthday cake- should be fun. Given this week has been hectic, I literally just had a few spare moments to get this card done. Sweet & Simple- just my style!

Thanks so much for the update on your Mom! I just e-mailed her before I came here to see if you had any news. That is so sad and devastating about the fires!

Just dropping by for the first time.
I love your cards and especially your presentation in the photos. With that little bit of added something, they look even better! I might give that a try!
Take care......

It's lovely! I'm thrilled to hear that your mom's house is OK, but saddened that her neighbors didn't get through it all as well. Watching the news coverage has just been unbelievable. My heart goes out to all of those affected by these fires. Tell her we're all thinking about her!!

Glad to hear your Mom and her place are okay...can't imagine a fire that close to the house. All in all such a terrible thing to happen.
